Hi readers, today we will learn how to take snap shot of a screen which is also called as print screen. Coming first, what is print screen??? Well in simple language we can say that taking a picture of your current screen is called print screen. So it simply means that what ever is displayed on your screen at present is taken as a snap shot in a print screen.
So, how do we do that??? Good question, I have seen many people who got stuck, while working due to some error, and that person is using an external device like mobile camera or a digital camera to capture it and look out for help with that capruted picture. Now the thing is,,,, we do not need to make our life so complex, as we are having print screen for the same, and it is very easy to use also, just press “Prt Scrn” key on your key board, which is situated besides the function keys, and then open a new Paint, Word pad, Word, Excel, Powerpoint file and do “paste” or press “ctrl + v”. You will see that what ever the screen is displaying has been pasted on the file. Now you can save the file and use it as per your need.
You can also take a snap shot of the current window by pressing “alt + Prt Scrn” key and then pasting it to a new file.
For using print screen on laptops, always press function key “Fn” along with “Prt Scrn” or “alt + Prt Scrn”.
Now suppose you are working in internet and the web page you have browsed is longer than your screen, or you have opened a long file which is longer than your screen and you are not able to take picture of the entire page, so what now??? There is a solution for the same, install PDF printer on your system.
What is a PDF printer??? – A PDF printer is a virtual printer where in we can print what ever necessary to a PDF file. For using a virtual printer or a PDF Printer you have to install a PDF printer (like Nova PDF, or any other end numbers of PDF printers available in market) to your system. Then as we print to a real printer attached to a computer, the same ways we press “ctrl + P” to print the matter to a PDF printer. Remember to select the PDF printer from your printer queue prior to printing. The software will ask for a destination and then it saves the file there.
Hope this will be a useful information for you…. so keep liking it and share it….
